The Academies of Architecture of Arnhem and Amsterdam co-organize a workshop weekend; every year the students are confronted with a different location and material to work with. This year the challenge was to build structures made out of 1200 laths of 1 mtr long without joining materials. It resulted in many different stacking methods. The rythm of repetition that comes with stacking the same object is translated in the design.
